24.21 | 38 weeks

I barely made it to my appointment this morning since the family as a whole was up last night thanks to a certain little someone (ahem, Olivia). When I did manage to close my eyes, I would end up waking up because of contractions. So this morning, when I was told that I was at a four to four and a half dialated, no surprise, just relief. The time will be soon. Soon we'll meet this baby. Tonight? Tomorrow? Soon.

Last night, I decided I needed to put up the crib back up from the former daybed position. Both kids go in my room and wonder why they can't get on. So I told them that that is now the baby's bed. 'Be-be!'-David

24.20 | 37 weeks

I have arrived, the one that ate a twin.

(Favorite new pants and comfy tee; tj maxx and target). Doctors appointment in a few and there's a culture involved today. Not sure how I'll take that besides my usually flaring red cheeks and uncomfortable and awkward moments with the doctors and nurses. Here we go though. Contractions haven't stopped and I don't think they will.

Slowly starting to buy a thing here and there for my postpartum and it helps to look forward to some new piece of outfit or even a new netflix list. Had I mentioned that I gave myself an ombré? Haha, don't do that without patience and guidance, they are key! This happene a few weeks back and even though I knew it would take me a few tries to get it to what I want, I am barely accepting the way this first time around came out. Definitely learned for next time! Planning on 'fixing' my hair after the baby is born so that I can have some patience with myself.

24.19 | 36 weeks

A post I had prepared was graciously deleted by both Olivia and my fat fingers. Here's a recap:

Two weeks ago, on Friday, I switched doctors even though I was 34 weeks into the pregnancy game. The fact that they took me in was a mere miracle considering I was I am in the third trimester and barely had an medical records of my current pregnancy. While I was seen by the new doctor, he told me I was actually 34 weeks versus the 35 weeks that I was under belief. I was bummed. Mainly because I feel so done with being pregnant and I had quite the little breakdown about this knowledge the following night because, obviously, hormones and I just really felt overwhelmed.

Saturday, I went in to get some blood work done which included the wonderful sugar test (yuck!). Results were sent into the doctors office and since I never heard from any of them, all was well.

Tuesday evening I had an ultrasound, my second one in this pregnancy. I saw the chubbiest cheeks on that screen that we later joked that this baby probably ate a twin (just kidding, we know you didn't!). I felt somewhat guilty as if I had neglected my own kiddo by not having an ultrasound done sooner. It felt good to see him and know that he was 8lbs and 1 oz (this was last Tuesday, one week ago). I read somewhere that towards the end of a pregnancy, the baby gains an ounce a day. Which means, you should probably come out now before you hit the 9 lbs my friend. Thanks!

Besides seeing the baby that day, the absolute best news the ultrasound tech gave me was that my due date, was off. Not by a couple days or anything, by a month! Based on all the sizes she took down, I am ready to go. You better believe this gave me energy that I didn't know I had before. I am over the moon about that piece of information and I'm only hoping she's right. Contractions have not stopped happening throughout my days and they make me alert even though I know that they are all the fake ones.

The following Friday I saw a doctor again and once again, all was well. She mentioned that she saw the sizes and when she measured me she saw that i was probably a week off, no big deal and they were keeping my due date the same. We confirmed the hospital where I should be delivering and that's finally done and mostly over with (still have to pre-register).

Nothing really happens at doctors appointments from now on besides measurements and seeing if I'm dilated at all, so that'll happen this Friday. Looking forward to that...not.

24.15 | 32 weeks, 8 months

At 32 weeks I welcome myself with a nice round ball in my stomach. A ball that happens to kick hard enough to rock my body. Clearly, someone is growing... Quick! And strong. I feel like I gained 10 pounds overnight and feel super tired all of a sudden. It makes me think that his baby boy will be here a lot sooner than what we all imagine.

Personally, aside from being pregnant, I started back up on ebay, as I may have already mentioned and it feels good! I have packaged a number of items already and packaging is my favorite part, duh. I have tons more to post and even though I feel lazy and tired, it feels worse to not have anything to do because I slacked behind a day... Or two.

24.14 | 31 weeks

My tummy feels so itchy at times which only means one thing, it's expanding! At 31 weeks and I wonder why I'm itchy.. Because baby boy is putting on all his weight. He's getting ready to come tackle his siblings since that's all he hears them do. And we are getting ready to meet him by washing his clothes, giving him belly rubs and kisses and praying for a happy and healthy safe arrival. Whew! You're almost here baby!

24.12 | week 29

I posted a picture of the like last week on Instagram and used three of bump and I instead of two. I must have thought that I shared that picture on here too since I just noticed I didn't post it. Just two days ago I entered the anticipated 30 week mark and I am a little anxious and in disbelief that the baby will be here so soon!

7 months // 24.11 weeks old

I thought I pressed post? These pictures were taken this past weekend and as you can see, I look and sometimes feel ready. This is 7 months and it makes me wonder how I'll look at 9 months+ because I sure feel huge. Jesus even told me, 'I'm pretty sure you're 8 months. I'm sure the doctors are wrong...'

Baby moves around quite a bit and his favorite spot is below my ribs (just like his sister) and one difference from the last two, contractions wake me up at night. This one is quite different. Yes, we all experience some mild contractions before 'go time' but there's one specific one that I recently had that made me think, wait, this feels too strong. Even though I knew it wasn't anytime near the time to freak out, it did freak me out. But, I must say, it has gotten me so much more excited. We've gone out to buy so many new little things for this babe to wear and I washed a good batch of it because I couldn't contain myself. I'm excited to hold him and put a face to he name.

24.8 & 25 weeks

These portraits go hand in hand considering Baby 3 is a major part of me and my current body image. Soon (hopefully), each kiddo will have their own post about just themselves.

In the meantime, here's me at 24 years and 8 weeks! Woo! I cut my hair a few weeks ago because it was out of control. Only to come out hating how it was cut. Guess that's what I get for paying for a cheap cut, huh? I've been wanting to dye it for months and I'm convinced that I'll finally get to it in the weeks to come.

As for bump, we're quickly approaching his due date in October which means that I washed all the clothes we have for him so far and have stored it away. Also, changing our delivery doctor so that we can deliver close to home versus a 30-minute drive away. Baby moves whenever he hears all the action happening with his siblings and kicks me at night when his papa is near. We love you baby!
