18 weeks, 5 days.

Well, there's all sorts of shockers. This year it started with 'Where's my period?' In January. It resulted with 'You're having a *********!' in March and today, it's a 'You're 18 weeks and 5 days.'

What's happening?

I'm excited! I want that third baby (whose name has been picked out for, I believe) to stumble around with chubby feet around big brother and big sister. I see my two kiddos and just try to envision my third one. I wonder what this baby will be like and if we should just stop after this one. Or should we wait until they go to school and have a baby then, or what about adoption?!

So many things and believe me, I just am so happy and shocked to be nearly halfway 'done' with this pregnancy. I am in the patient room waiting and digesting that I am further along in this game than what I believed when I checked in. I'm nearly 3 weeks further along than what I left off counting at! Three!

What if they're wrong? Technically, they can be. I don't know the last menstrual cycle that I had. I know that it was in December, but that's all I could help out with. I know I was expecting Mother Nature during the second week, third (when I stressed out about not remembering) and then, nothing. So, I knew I was pregnant. I had a rough, I mean rough! first trimester and I am happy to report that this second trimester, well, it's much better than the last one. Of course, I have a ton more help with my kiddos (no reason to be exhausted... too much) and I know that factors in as a positive. Okay... I'm going off into whatever thought comes up. Forgetting that there may be a soul out there that may read this one day (*ahem* kids *cough*).

So, the point of this?

// I am happy to become a mama of 3.
// 18 weeks, 5 days.
// I'm pregnant!
// Oh! & to share some pictures, duh.

#a good day

I posted earlier about what a good family morning we had.

Truthfully, it was a good day. I didn't feel worried or anxious.

We thrifted in the morning and got some pretty cool deals. Papa found some clothes, I found myself books, I found books for the babies, and an overall for the little misses.

We then drove home and decided on donuts for breakfast would be good and so there we went across the street. We met a really cool older man whose middle name was McDonald. He shared his story with us and we loved it. We then met another friendly man named... Err... I forgot but I won't forget his face!

Next, we visited my mother-in-law and ordered some tamales for this weekend from her co-worker. I. Am. So. Excited.

The boys came home to nap.

I woke them up because I was clearly ready for my promised burger! We tried out five guys and I must admit publicly, I liked it. Yup. Over in-n-out which Jesus doesn't understand.

We came home and each did our thing (Jesus played mw3, David roamed from here and there, and I cleaned up our room a little bit). I had some company and plenty of talking down with my sister-in-law. We wrapped up their visit with all the boys making a 6 minute video of them dancing on the bed. It was amazing. Jesus, David, and Milo, you guys are awesome.

Finally, the three of us watched a documentary on Netflix about the Sea Shepard. Check that out if you're all for the whales!

In a nutshell. I had a great day with my family. We went about the day completely out of our "norm" and I think that's what made it a great day for me.

Tomorrow our schedule changes due to Jesus returning to school (woo!) which means d and I are on our own.

p.s. yesterday I was tricked into going to the hospital because I thought my water might have ruptured. Obviously it was a fake. Tonight though, these contractions have been getting closer and stronger. I feel like I might cry from how nervous I'm getting.

#one room at a time

My house is pretty much upside down today. Okay, almost everyday it's upside down. Fine. It's upside down everyday. Like I've been complaining, I'm tired. Well, my body is because I seem like I can keep going, mentally and spiritually. Tonight, for my big alone-without-a-husband-night, I only tackled a quarter of the things I did last night. I'm not gonna lie, I feel bummed because I wanted to do so much more, but its okay.

I only got my laundry loads 1&2 put away, cleared up the misses crib, pinned up a garland, washed about half the dishes, and finished my thank you notes.

Hm, that seems a bit better when I list it all. [:

Now, I'm tucking myself away and calling it a night because my back is begging for my sweet bed.

#be productive

Jesus has been leaving me these last couple of nights due to extra work. Thank you for those sacrificed sleepless nights! Unfortunately, I miss him tons. By the time he leaves David is asleep and I'm just left looking at the walls. I decided to do something...

Night one: I watched Netflix and started some thank you notes
Night two: I cleaned, rearranged, and did some artwork.
Night three, tonight: work on some cards to sell this weekend.

I've felt good knowing that I'm doing something. I won't lie, my body is starting to fail me. I'm not sure what's going on exactly but my chest and back are hurting to simply breathe. Maybe I slept wrong. I definitely don't think this is baby related.

Regardless of how I've been feeling, I took David out on a list of errands with me today so he could let his dad rest (remember, he's been crying for undivided attention, even from people who may be sleeping).

Stop one: the Home Depot; make a set of extra car keys and purchase a keychain
Stop two: Walmart; returns and exchanges. The best thing that happened, I found my breast pump on clearance, the only one, mind you, for $20! Super excited.
Stop three: target; found clothes for the kiddos and bought some necessities, aka toothpaste.
Stop four: michaels; used my awesome 40% discount that was just burning up in my purse waiting to be used.

We missed two more stops due to a tired worn out baby. And mama. I won't lie, that exhausted me. Each stop means a lot to this pregnant swollen body.

Anyway, I did a little garland for the little lady and I must say, I really like it! More pictures soon.

#baby shower for baby girl

Little lady was blessed by family, friends, and people that we her family hadn't met before. Like my mom mentioned, yes, we appreciate the material things everyone brings but the best presents we like is all the advice, tips, and blessings everyone shares.

#1; I really liked that my in-laws came with me to my side of the family
#2; the cake!
#3; the one that organizes it all, makes it all happen, and is everywhere on party days, my mom
#4; many pretty gifts but this one isn't pink and is a knitted blanket by a very dear person in our lives
#5; David started out as a great helper but was easily distracted by so many loved ones

#35 weeks

I feel full of love for these babies. The one that's growing inside is kicking and trying to turn in there. I know, space is limited in there girly. You'll have plenty of room soon though! Then, there's little handsome kicking me everywhere when we lie in bed in the mornings. Yet, today when I changed him in his oh-so-cool 'tux,' he just rested his feet on his sister.

It felt so sweet.

I felt so much love for them both. I truly hope they become each others best friends from the start. Not much to hope for, right?
