My dearest little munchkin. You are sick!
What!?
Yeah. It's very unfortunate but as of right now, close to 6 am, you are feeling better. How I know this? Because you're sleeping peacefully. Yesterday you woke up with some boogers and throughout the day your right eye kept crying. In the evening, both eyes were crying and you had a small fever. You had the shortest nap during the day, probably because it was so hard for you to breathe.
My poor little baby.
This last night you woke up crying a number of times. Your daddy, who is usually the grumpy one when he gets woken up was actually very helpful. He put a wet rag on your back, something I had never seen or heard of before, he massaged you, and would tell you " it's okay." As soon as we would start getting some sleep you would cry out, over and over.
You're doing better kiddo. You'll be up and running soon with that big smile that makes everything better!
See these pictures below? You felt sick but you still made a mess with your toys. You dropped blocks and puzzle pieces back into the air conditioning vent even though I had just taken them out that morning. You read books after for quite a while and I'm so glad you played a little. You are too cute. I feel so much love for you.

#david and other kids
As I mentioned earlier, David really has impressed me with all the TLC he has shown for his baby sister this entire week. If this changes (what went wrong!?) I'll have a panic attack and a possible meltdown. Being a 15-month old, I hear that it is very common and normal to hit other kids without meaning to. This, has been the case with his poor cousin milo. Not until recently do they have baby talks and follow each other around with toys. Breakthrough! Prior to this, their relationship consisted of David head butting or smacking poor milo. All that happens now (as in the negatives) is David stealing toys that milo wants to play with. We'll get there soon boys!

I couldn't help but share. My little champ. Five shots in a sitting. Walked out rocking band-aids.
One: upper left arm, an ouch and cry towards the end.
Two: upper left leg, a flinch and cry.
Three& four: upper right leg, super flex and louder cry.
Five: upper left arm, cried and turned to hug and cry.
I almost cried with him yesterday. For his pain even though he did really good! Seriously, the second the last needle was out he sniffed and hugged me and he was okay.
Maybe telling him he's brave and he's going to be okay beforehand worked? Either way, I'm proud of you, my boy. You're a champ. Mama loves you.

#the 27th
Now I know many of the things I share here are about my little boy David but what can you expect? Unless you have kids of your own, then I don't think you'll understand this constant obsession to brag about your kid any chance you get. Why? Because we love them and truthfully, they mean the universe to us parents. Or at least that's the way I feel. So, every 27th of this year, I hope to share some more things about David.
#Today...
#David turned 15-months-old.
#David's diaper hung halfway off his booty because it was that heavy with sh*t. It went all over his clothes, back, and on our sofa cover (while the main *white* cover was in the wash).
#David experimented with my different cameras that he very much enjoyed.
#David woke up surprisingly happy from nap time. He found the iPad next to him and played on it before screaming out to let me know he was awake.
#This week...
#David didn't have horrible teething disturbances.
#David has been terrified of our new vacuum. Literally runs and hides as I take it out and needs to be held while its on. We don't know how this happened since this was not an issue a week ago.
#David has been easily climbing on and off the chairs in order to reach and see whatever it is he might want.
#David observed, while on a chair, as I cooked. His attention soon was derived by the toaster.
#David stayed awake during a whole trip to LA and back like a trooper.
#David pushed his very own mini cart while shopping at Albertson's.
#This month...
#David has been transition into his crib versus a mattress only.
#David's hair has grown out of control.
#David was introduced to crayons.
#David has been a lot curious about learning how to use this toy.
David, you are loved. Very much kiddo.

#little feet
Remember a couple days ago when I was complaining about being sore? Yeah, I blame Dave. He sleeps like a crazy maniac doing a full 360 in his bed (or on mine depending on where he is). When he cries in the middle of the night, I have to get up and find him (FYI, I'm half blind). A couple nights ago, I found him hugging his bumper which I thought was really cute since he usually hugs me as he's falling asleep. Then the other night, I found him in the middle of his 'rearranging positions fiasco' and he ended up with his little feet hanging out of his crib.
These little things, they just melt me.

#pajama-na-na's
I think d stays in his pjs most of the time. We don't go out much, plus its cold, and we're bums so jammie's is how we stay dressed around here.
Pro of staying in pjs: comfy.
Con of staying in pjs: inspires laziness.
On another side note:;
He has a really bad rash right now and the poor guy is walking around in a t-shirt, sweater, and socks.
No diaper.
No pants.
Yup. So we're keeping him in his play pen with a layer of towels and a couple of toys. I felt really bad considering we don't put him in the playpen because we started referring to it as a prison. But then, I saw him pee. Out. Onto the carpet.
I. Don't. Feel. Too. Bad. Anymore.
He's going to have to stay there. I'll sit around him so he doesn't feel too lonely. <3
