47/365 | Olivia Turns Two

This post has been sitting as a draft for a good month! Sorry baby girl, I promise it has nothing to do with how your second birthday was celebrated.

Our morning was all about your presents. You liked doing this. David remembered what it was like and tried to help you but you were WAY too into doing it yourself and staying in charge of this to let him help you. That's why there's many moments in these pictures where David is a little upset. Not only did you not let him help you, you didn't want to share your toys! Who can blame a birthday girl? Presents are exciting and look at you, ready to take on all those puzzles and new clothes.

Afterwards, we drove out to Dos Lagos to play at this cute little playground that they have that we all enjoyed and had recently discovered. No pictures taken because we parents were avoiding the benches with the warm sun and you guys were running and playing everywhere.

We stayed out late the day of your birthday and didn't get around to cutting a cake. So the morning after, we cut a small bundt cake that was DELICIOUS to say the least. You blew out your peach colored candles very happily and David had a turn blowing blue candles out too.

Happy Birthday Olivia!

Even if it's April 2nd now. Hahaha.
