31/365 | At the Park + The Chinese New Years Festival

At the park for some time before we headed down to riverside for the Chinese New Years festival.

It was only 40 minutes of the festival that we were supposed to enjoy before we met up with papa to enjoy the rest of the day (by that we were supposed to enjoy watching the silva vs diaz fight). Durin that time we walked around and took a couple of pictures of that giant Asian baby that David loved, bought snacks, saw the dragon dance show, and bought a lantern. I remember walking back to the car along the fountains so the kids could walk more and I remember when we were in the car and seeing the clock turn past 2:26 and then past 2:58 and wondering, why would Jesus possibly be taking this long to get off?

We ended our festival walk and waiting in the car to waiting outside of the emergency room with vending machine snacks for papa after getting assaulted at work. Yep. That was different. But what wasn't, was your papas smile and 'hey guys, let's go, I'm ready' attitude when he walked out with a staple in his head. Literally.
