#LA run

The last couple weeks we've been making runs to LA to purchase merchandise for the husbands screenprinting business. Every time we go, we walk around and 'explore' (a couple blocks perimeter) and we get inspired and motivated. It really hadn't made too much of an effect on me until today. How I know this? Walking into our at-home office and going through my things and organizing helped keep me interested. I'm away nursing but my mind is half over there, a quarter here, and another quarter on both kids.

It is definitely a challenge to concentrate and stay motivated and to ACTUALLY be persistent with work when it is all done at home. I think that reminding myself why I am doing it, even if it is something small, will help.

Focus!

#be productive

A couple nights ago, I mentioned to Jesus how I'm over reading certain bloggers (whom I've followed for a long period of time) because their blogs became all about their children. There's no more interesting stuff going on or inspiring or even nice pictures to look at. Harsh? Kinda. Then he told me, isn't that the only thing you blog about (David)?

Um, yeah.

But no one reads mine, so it's okay to overload my very personal blog about my little boy. Right?

I want to cover our walls with pretty colors and nice things to look at. I made a little thing to hang over baby girls crib and it included some hot pink! For those that know me, I'm not a fan of pink but something has happened and now, here I go. Pink.
