Catching Up

I have completely slipped into such a deep hole, I'm upset and embarrassed to admit just how bad it is.

// I have not been taking pictures of my kids on a regular basis //

That's a shame especially because it seems like there is something new that they do everyday. Olivia has faces and gestures and her own language. David has new dance moves and new interests and obsessions (cars).

David dressed up as Spider-Man for Halloween, courtesy of Grandma Angie and Olivia dressed up as a little Chinese girl with her kimono, courtesy of Papa.

Olivia ended up wearing her pajamas and Aunt Sarah and I drew whiskers and a nose on her.

A week or so before, we went out to the store and while I looked for certain party supplies, David stocked up on anything Cars or actual four-wheeled-cars in his very own shopping basket. It was the first time I experienced this with my little shopper. It was so cute that I wanted to buy everything in his basket!

Like I mentioned, moments have been happening and I haven't had my camera ready. My phone camera! Big fail but I promise to change that.

After a walk across the street to pick up a couple of groceries, this little man had to walk back and was so tired that he ended up just sitting on the curb. He didn't want to go on, so cute. He to his energy up once he heard sirens going down this street and jumped up to wave them good luck as they got in front of him.

The day I started realizing I hadn't been keeping up with some sort of photo diary of my kiddos, I snapped these of David. I got a video of Olivia climbing up the slides barefoot! Sweaty feet must help because this lady nearly got to the very top.

Yesterday morning I treated these lovelies to a little breakfast. I say treated but it only means that I paid even though Papa hands the mula over. Nonetheless, David didn't eat the crayons! We are moving past that stage. Very proud Mama.

I remembered at the end why I don't like eating out for breakfast... Rubbery pancakes. Maybe it's just the location...

Oh, lady. You have us wrapped around your fingers. All three of us. I'm totally okay with this, but if you can turn the crying down a couple hundred notches, we would ALL be that much more grateful. (:

New goal: record daily pictures on a regular basis.
