#simple DIY

While my boys were asleep earlier, I went through my fabric and textiles box and found some things I could use. I only got around to finishing one of the many things I pulled out but I liked how it came out even though you might be able to see my errors (heart isn't a perfect heart and my stitching doesn't exactly match). What can I say?

I'm still learning.

My little valentines gift/decoration for my little baby. xo.


Materials I used: pillowcase, fabric, sewing machine, pins (or extra needles in my case), scissors, and a colored pencil.

#1: Fold your heart fabric in half.

#2: I directly drew half a heart onto the fabric. I messed around with the size quite a bit until I was happy with my heart size.

#3: I cut out the heart and played with where I wanted it placed and then pinned it onto the pillowcase.

#4: I sewed it on. Done.


Super simple and I honestly love how it came out, again, even with its mistakes.
