&a very silly face because I obviously can't take a picture seriously. I needed to put this picture up because it just can't be all about David. (Sorry about my last post were I rambled and made no sense btw.)
Anyway, as a baby this kid never liked to be swaddled or rocked like a baby, ever! Yet, he has his moments where he'll let his papa rock him. Nope, not mama. Just papa. Issue #1 that I got (getting) over.
Oh yeah, I've got another one. Why does he only say 'papa' ...? Yeah. What?! I birthed you child!!!! It might not have been a hard long labor but what?! Are you kidding?! I make your bottles, make your food and feed you, change your diapers, stayed up with you when you were a newborn, sacrificed my hair (oh, it's dead) and my boobs!!, and you say papa first?!
Ahh, well, I'm glad you're saying it. I really am. I actually wanted him to say that first. The only time I hear a 'ma' is when he cries. I'm so very special. Unlike the moment yesterday when his dad picked him up from the carseat after just falling asleep and he said 'papa'… IN HIS SLEEP!!!
I will get over this.
