It's Been A While // Fall 2015

So in love with this girl.

Swooned by this little guy, how he's grown!

He walks now, has one syllable words, a love bug.

I had forgotten all about blogger. But I am so glad I remembered a season later + have a few memories online. My phone is dead, I used a tablet for a month, and yesterday, Jesus bought me the new iPhone 6s Plus. DAYUM! Moved me up in the phone world, I love this phone. I've started to do my own thing thru Instagram and I am enjoying it! Will share more, I'm sure, later.

Update.

Summer, you snuck up on me out of nowhere. I found out it was your season a week after you showed up. After all, that's what happens when you update your calendar from April to July (because why bother and leave you in June for a day?). All was well with you until this past weekend, when you decided to do your thing and get all hot. Clearly you didn't like my attitude and my honest reaction so you sent me thunder! And some sprinkles. Wow. You. You got me all wrapped around your finger, huh? Well, you wish because I'm still counting the days until you're gone and Autumn shows up.

This past Sunday, I had a little one on one date with this little sand baby. I would move your sand hands away and you insisted on tasting the sand, so, I gave in. Or gave up. Either way, you walked (with me, of course) so fast towards the beach but yelled so loud when the cold water touched your hands. We sat down and appreciated the overpacked beach and the runners that invaded your personal bubble consisting of a 10 feet radius. Your first time at the beach was a success overall and now I can definitely wait until we go back with your older siblings.

Photostrip

Sometimes, you just snap away. Sometimes, filters are fun. Sometimes, you just post. Sometimes.

Yet, all the time, I love you. All the time, you look adorable. All the time, by my side. All the time.

The School Playground

Last Sunday, when Papa was off, we wandered around this school + park around where we used to live. A school that can be easily walked into and furthermore accessed. Just as much as I would like my kids to go to this school, I wouldn't. Because even though the neighborhood looks + may give you the feeling that it is very trusting, the fact that you can walk right on in was unsettling.

Yet, besides that, what a nice evening it turned out to be. Just our little family in a sweet little school playground. I couldn't help but realize that David will start kindergarten so much sooner than I realize. I got teary-eyes with the fact + would highly prefer to keep him home even though I know how much he will love and succeed being with so many other children.

Libraries Are For Playing, Right?

Where was sister? Didn't even matter. These boys got right to playing and making friends. Isaac was being 'picked on' (according to a mom) by a little boy a few months older than him. I thought they were trying to bond by putting their foreheads on each other. David started moving those foam chairs around with said baby's older brother and seemed to get along quite well. After they played around and Olivia showed back up, we went to pick books out and they each walked out so happy with their reading material.

David picked: Dinosailors by Deb Lund
Olivia picked: Lots of Spots by Lois Elhert
Mama's favorite was: Mr. Tiger Goes Wild by Peter Brown
